Band Information: Root Cellar uniquely interprets a wide-ranging repertoire from traditional celtic to Americana to contemporary originals. The band is made up of Pat and Tex Lamountain, well-known singer-songwriters, who have been enthralling audiences with their tight harmonies for thirty years. Joining them are Jennie McAvoy, voice and guitar, Daphne Bye, voice and keyboards, and Mark Fraser, cello and bass. The variety of instrumentation and musical styles, as well as the smooth vocal harmonies, lead to a rich musical experience like no other. The band's repertoire allows many different combinations within the same concert, from solo, duo, trio to the whole band, keeping the audience always guessing as to what will come next!
