Join us for Joseph Tsatsu Siame’s solo exhibition, presented alongside ALNB’s Artists of Color Show, with an opening reception on Friday, July 25 from 6–8 PM at the Art League of New Britain. Inspired by his belief that “art is my language,” Tsatsu fuses modern influences with traditional African artistry to convey stories, emotions, and visions that transcend words. The exhibition runs from July 25 through Sunday, August 24.

Joseph Tsatsu is constantly evolving as an artist, pushing the boundaries of visual art by merging diverse media to tell stories that resonate across cultures and generations. His portfolio represents not just the depth of his skill but the breadth of his vision for contemporary African art.

About the Artist

"Art is my language, and through every stroke, shape, and medium, I seek to convey stories, emotions, and visions that transcend words. My work is a fusion of modern influences and
traditional African artistry, using different mediums to express the diversity and complexity of human experience."

Joseph Tsatsu is an African, multi-talented visual artist whose work spans painting, digital, illustration, and mixed media. With over two decades of experience, Joseph has honed a unique style that blends traditional African heritage and themes with contemporary techniques. His work often
explores cultural identity, communal engagement, heritage and festival, spirituality, and the human
condition. His recent works have been focused on works that echo the plights of the
vulnerable in society, using the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the African Union Agenda 2063 as a benchmark for his paintings.
